Christmas wreath making workshop for charity

People are being invited to get into the community Christmas spirit by taking part in a wreath making workshop whilst raising money for charity.

Two local burial grounds in Wimborne and Christchurch are holding the workshops with a fully-trained hands-on florist and festive refreshments.

Tickets are on a ‘first come, first served' basis, and cost £30 with all proceeds going to SAFEmpowerment which supports children affected by domestic abuse.

Elisa Way, Burial Ground Team Manager at Hinton Park Woodland Burial Ground and Poole & Wimborne Woodland Burial Ground, said: "We wanted to do something creative this Christmas which everyone could get involved in so we decided to put our expertise to good use with the wreath making.

"We will be supplying all of the sustainably-sourced materials so people just need to turn up and get stuck in whilst enjoying some festive refreshments."

The first workshops will take place on Wednesday 6 December at 10am and 2pm at Hinton Park Woodland Burial Ground, Wyndham Road, Walkford, BH23 7EJ.

To book, contact the team via info@hintonparkburial.co.uk or on 01425 278910.

The workshop in Wimborne will take place on Wednesday 13 December at 11am at Poole & Wimborne Woodland Burial Ground, Greenhill Road, BH21 2RG.
