16 jobs created in Bournemouth at new Starbucks store
Tuesday 31 October 2023, UK: A former retail unit, which has been vacant since February 2022, has been given a new lease of life with the opening of a new Starbucks store tomorrow.
The new Starbucks at Ringwood Road Retail Park has created 16 new jobs in the local Bournemouth area and will be operated by licensee Cobra Coffee, which is based on the south coast.
To celebrate the opening, the store will be offering 50 lucky customers complimentary reusable cups during the first week.
Saoscha O'Connell, Store Manager, said: "I've been looking after our neighbouring store in Castlepoint Shopping Centre for the last two years so I'm looking forward to bringing my experience to this new store.
"We're really excited to welcome the community, to show off the new store and to meet lots of new faces!"
From 26 October, festive favourite beverages returned to Starbucks stores nationwide, exclusively for Starbucks® Rewards members. Members were invited to enjoy the new Holiday Menu, including returning fan favourites Toffee Nut Latte, Eggnog Latte and Caramel Waffle and the brand-new Hazelnut Crunch Hot Chocolate, which will be available to everyone from 2 November.
For the first time ever, Starbucks® Rewards members can also get their hands on exclusive merchandise early, including the Colour Changing Reusable Hot Cup and Red Bling Cold Cup.
To reduce food waste, the new store will offer Too Good To Go - a leading surplus food app connecting customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold food.
Starbucks offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.
Starbucks is committed to 100% ethically sourced coffee in partnership with Conservation International. The cornerstone of its ethical sourcing approach to buying coffee is Coffee and Farmer Equity (C.A.F.E.) Practices.
With a selection of indoor seating, the store offers customers the opportunity to enjoy a handcrafted cup of coffee and relax with free wi-fi. Customers can order via the Starbucks® UK App, available for iPhone® and Android™, to order ahead, skip the queue and collect to takeaway. Delivery will also be fully available within the month to all customers via Uber Eats and Just Eat.
The new store is located at 901 - 905 Ringwood Road, Bournemouth, BH11 8LL, and will be open from 7:30am to 18:30pm Monday to Saturday, and 09:00am to 18:00pm Sundays.
