Natural styles – charming and evocative of a simpler time – have always been very much in vogue, and the brand-new Cottage Life range from Keller is a clear indication that this trend has a long life ahead of it.
A simplistic and authentic look is the centrepiece, emphasising natural materials and natural living. The cabinets blend seamlessly with the surroundings both physically and aesthetically, especially with regards to the ashen colouring. The 708 handle, sleek and attractive, melds perfectly with the rest of the range, lining up perfectly across the set to create a tidy, symmetrical pattern. The island grants extra room with plenty of prep space, and the linen-finish kitchen door continues the organic look in a light-grey, realistic wood finish. Deepened sink cabinets provide a vast array of storage space, efficiently maximising use of the area available. They also serve to hollow out the island, giving it a pleasing, arched look.
Utilising stoic stain dark grey oak and trendy Bronx linen, the colours and materials in this uncomplicated design prioritise clean, pristine living, unblemished by the rigours of modern life. The interior is cloaked in colour ‘mist’, a series of white, grey, and black shades that create a remarkably striking veneer. The worktop and back wall are comprised of composite materials, giving the appearance of elegant marble and bold stone respectively. Bronx linen is a soft-touch contrast to the surrounding composite shell and solid oak cabinets, further emphasising the natural element.
