John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, James Bond The Living Daylights), will play the role of an eccentric count who distributes champagne from his mysterious Chateau in Northern France for de Bleuchamp's latest advert ‘A Spectre Calls'. John Rhys-Davies writing from New Zealand described the project as ‘a real cracker of an advert, fun to watch and great fun to do'.

Champagne de Bleuchamp made in Verzenay by the Pehu Simonet Grand Cru House has for the last two years been the Champagne Sponsor of the BFI London Film Festival. Last season saw Brad Pitt's Film ‘Fury', close the festival with Brad, who also makes wine in France, and his team drinking de Bleuchamp Brut late into the night.

Acclaimed Director Howard J Ford has directed 5 Feature Films and 200 plus top brand commercials. His most recent Feature ‘Never Let Go' was screened this year in Cannes starring Angela Dixon.

Rupert Smith, Brand Manager of de Bleuchamp who attended the screening was so impressed with Howard's style of film making, gripping fast paced action and huge spirit of adventure which instantly resonated with the spirit of de Bleuchamp. Howard and Rupert's shared passion for capturing the spirit of adventure and glamour of champagne has lead to the exciting film making project.

Production of ‘A Spectre Calls' based on the screenplay by Guy Fee will start late August of this year in Northern France and the search is now intensifying for the two female co-stars who will act alongside Rhys-Davies in a fast paced, Champagne fuelled, stylistic thriller to be shown globally in 2016. This will happen across film festivals in Europe in conjunction with the distribution of Champagne de Bleuchamp's new limited edition, Spectre Cuvee Champagne.
