URBAN eat Launches the ‘Sandwich Selfie'

Leading Food to Go brand URBAN eat has launched a brand new ‘Sandwich Selfie' promotion offering consumers the chance to win ‘New Year in New York' by simply uploading photos of themselves tucking into a sandwich.

Everyone who uploads a ‘Sandwich Selfie' viawww.sandwichselfie.co.ukbetween now and November 20thwill automatically be put into a free draw to win the fantastic all-expenses paid trip to the Big Apple and, what's more, there will be additional ad-hoc prizes up for grabs for anyone who submits a ‘selfie' that captures the imagination of the URBAN eat brand team.

URBAN eat Brand Manager Isla Owen explains: "We always run a high profile promotion to mark the launch of our Autumn/Winter range and this year is no exception, spending New Year in New York is on most people's bucket list and I am sure it will be one of our most popular prizes ever.

"The four-night ‘New Year in New York' break for two includes return flights, transfers, hotel accommodation in iconic Times Square a and sightseeing helicopter trip along with £1,000 spending money to make sure that the lucky winner can see in 2015 in style.

"There are ‘Selfies' of just about everything right now so why not the sandwich? We don't mind where people are, who they are with, what else they are doing or even what kind of sandwich they are eating, as long as they are having a good time we want to see their pictures."

URBAN eat is planning to invest over £1m in digital marketing in the next four years to build on its 55,000 plus Facebook following and recently underlined its commitment by announcing a new partnership with the award winning agency FastWebMedia.

"Having now secured extensive listings across the convenience retail, travel and contract catering sectors we are looking forward to working with the creative team at FWM to take URBAN eat to a whole new level of engagement with consumers of all demographics," explains Owen.
