Bridge PR hits the road with AYS Logistics

A national PR agency based in Coventry has hit the road working with international logistics and road freight specialist AYS Logistics.

Bridge PR & Media Services has been contracted by the Solihull-based logistics firm to deliver greater trade awareness of the company's core services throughout the manufacturing and distribution sectors, and raise its profile on a local level throughout the Midlands.

The appointment comes after AYS Managing Director Jane Weaver was recently announced as Business Person of the Year by the Solihull Chamber of Commerce. It also follows the company's huge success working on an international scale. Over the past six months, AYS Logistics hassuccessfully enabled clients to export bone china crockery to Mexico, France and The Caribbean; recycled waste to Denmark; watches to Switzerland; and a Darts ‘Hockey' to Germany. The company has also recently enabled other businesses to import barbecue briquettes from Holland; silver cutlery from Turkey and the USA; and industrial machinery from Holland. 

It was Bridge PR's experience in the logistics and manufacturing sectors that most appealed to AYS Logistics, which has benefitted from coaching and training courses from Bridge in the past. Managing Director Jane Weaver said: "Bridge came to us with a successful track record in our industry. It was apparent early on that they really understood our business, our sector, and had some really creative and original ideas that will help us get noticed in our target markets."

Bridge has been working in the logistics sector for the past 20 years and by specialising in every link of the supply chain, the company is enjoying great success in these markets nationally. The company will fulfil on a strategic marketing communications campaign that includes traditional PR, social media support and digital marketing, and will help AYS Logistics raise the profile of its warehousing, courier, overnight and drop off services.
