Titled ‘In the Making', an exhibition at the Furniture Makers Hall, showcased the fantastic work of the talented graduates fromRycotewood Furniture Centre.

30 unique pieces of handcrafted furniture were displayed and, amongst the students' beautiful pieces- stoodSterlingOSBpanels which were used to build walls and plinths.

SterlingOSB was used because of its raw, rugged appearance which juxtaposed the students' handcrafted pieces.

Joseph Bray, programme leader at the Rycotewood Furniture Centre, explained that the students have begun to useSterlingOSBfor their furniture designs, as well as for exhibition plinths. ‘The students are always looking for high quality materials that can be substituted for timber or other panel products. As a product, it is easy to manipulate using our basic woodworking machinery and really cost-effective'.

With precision engineered panels and interlaced real wood strands,SterlingOSBis a sturdy and strong product perfect for load bearing situations.

SterlingOSBis increasingly finding favour in applications previously dominated by softwood ply. Whereas all ply sold in the UK has to be imported,SterlingOSBis a genuinely home-grown and sustainable product.
