Ever Dreamed of Becoming a Fused Glass Artist?

This summer Jo Downs is launching a new online competition to give one lucky person the chance to design and win their own, unique piece of Jo Downs Handmade Glass.

Open to everyone of any age and any creative ability, you can create your own wonderful wall panel, beautiful bowl or magical mirror by simply downloading the design templates at www.jodowns.com. Fill in your design using art software, or print the templates out and draw and colour in your design ideas. You can even get messy and cut out and stick on your creations. Then simply send your design to competitions@jodowns.com so Jo can post it on her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages and tag you. You will need to share the link of your design - as the more likes and shares you get, the better your chance of winning. Jo and her small team of glass makers will select the winning design from the Top 20 most liked and shared entries, and the chosen design will be created in fused glass by Jo Downs herself. Jo Downs Handmade Glass

One of the world's most prominent fused glass artists, British designer Jo Downs' handcrafted work is inspired by the coastal setting of Cornwall where she lives and works. Jo's range of beautiful glassware includes hangings, bowls and mirrors alongside her much sought after statement interior pieces such as wall panels and art frames.

Jo has also developed her studio to undertake large interior projects. Her innovative designs have earned her hundreds of private commissions, producing fused glass windows, mirrors, wall panels and other artworks for homes, hotels and corporate headquarters around the world.

Jo Downs galleries can be found in Ripley, Surrey and Twickenham, Middlesex, and in Cornwall at Market Place St Ives, Middle Street Padstow, Fore Street Fowey, Fore Street Tintagel and at her Launceston studio, where you can also see Jo and her team at work.
