New Roughneck chisel offers concrete advantages

Olympia Tools is reinforcing its position as a dynamic ‘one-stop shop' supplier for any hand tool or workwear need.

The business, which already offers a comprehensive portfolio of products under its Roughneck and other brands, has recently introduced a new and specialist Roughneck Concrete Chisel.

The new Roughneck Concrete Chisel is a contractor grade product with a large striking cap and a 4mm pointed tip.

It is designed specifically for breaking concrete slabs but can also be used as a manual drill in order to create holes in a variety of other materials and substrates.

To ensure it is highly fit for purpose and remains true to the Roughneck brand ethos of offering ‘Tough Tools for a Tough World', the new Roughneck Concrete Chisel is drop forged from heat treated, tempered steel.

It is also black powder coated for extra durability and a better aesthetic finish

In addition, and to enhance user comfort and safety, it benefits from an ergonomic safety grip.

For easier product merchandising at the point of sale, it is also supplied on a plastic hang tag.

The launch of the new concrete chisel complements the existing chisel range available under the Roughneck brand. This includes a recently introduced Roughneck 18-inch Cold Chisel.

This chisel, which is especially useful for breaking cavity walls - such as when creating access points for services - is constructed using the same material and methods as the Roughneck Concrete Chisel.

It is also supplied on a hang tag and with plastic tip protectors.
