NMBS Exhibition to offer first glimpse of new
ForgeFast elite performance screws

The NMBS Exhibition has always been the ideal destination for independent merchants looking to discover new products and new innovations.

The buying society's 2017 show, which takes on the 5^th April at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, will be no exception thanks to the efforts of dynamic NMBS suppliers like ForgeFix.

The company - which ranks as one of the UK's leading distributors of fixings, fasteners, power tool accessories and hardware - has confirmed it will use its stand at this year's event (Stand 24) to offer an early glimpse of a number of new additions to its ForgeFast range of elite performance screws.

The new ForgeFast products¸ which were officially launched on the 1^st April, include two types of decking screw (a countersunk decking screw and a reduced head decking screw), a new timber screw and a new construction screw.

Like the existing Pozi and Torx compatible woodscrews available under the ForgeFast brand, the new screws benefit from an impressive array of features which enable them to outperform existing premium products currently on the market. It's for this reason that ForgeFix is again positioning its latest products in a new and elite performance category.

All of the new ForgeFast screws employ Torx compatible heads to ensure a higher transmission of driving power. This is especially beneficial on the larger timber and structural screws and for applications where numerous repeat screw installations are required - such as when installing decking or working on timber frame buildings.

All of the new ForgeFast screws also benefit from self-drilling threads which help to increase installation times by eliminating the need to pre-drill pilot holes.

In addition, the threads are low torque, further facilitating ease of insertion whilst helping to prolong power tool battery life and reduce user exertion.

Another feature common to all of the new ForgeFast screws is their use of ForgeFix's proprietary elementech 2000 coating for exceptional corrosion resistance.

This coating has been salt spray tested to 2000 hours and lasts 20 times longer than zinc coatings. Elementech is also free of harmful CR6 (hexavalent chromium).

To encourage NMBS members to try its new and existing ForgeFast screws, ForgeFix will be offering major ‘on the day' deals at the NMBS Exhibition across the entire range. This includes discounts of over 60% when ordering any combination of 20 outer box quantities.

The business will also be running a special competition giving one visiting NMBS member the chance to win a DEWALT SDS drill and multiple fixings if they can provide the combination to unlock a DEWALT tool chest.
