Fused-glass designer Jo Downs is putting her best foot forward this spring, running her first ever London Marathon in aid of Marie Curie. Jo's London Marathon run follows on from her recent completion of the 2016 Dublin Marathon, which raised £1000 for Prostate Cancer UK, and the Jo Downs team's regular entry in the annual Padstow to Rock Swim in aid of Marie Curie. The Jo Downs team have so far raised over £25k for good causes, and have many more charity events planned for 2017 including staff members' participation in Ride London this July and Jo's entry into the New York Marathon this November.

‘This is my first London Marathon' says Jo ‘and every step of my run is on behalf of Marie Curie and the wonderful work they do. Supporting local charities is very much part of the Jo Downs company ethos, and Marie Curie is an organisation close to all our hearts. I hope my run and our charity raffle will encourage our fantastic customers to give as much as they can. We are always so grateful for their support!'

You can support Jo's marathon effort by entering her charity raffle to WIN one of three gorgeous fused-glass wall installations. From 27th February raffle tickets will be available at her galleries in St Ives, Padstow, Fowey, Tintagel and Launceston for her spectacular Ocean, Reef and Mini Shoal collections worth £690, £460 and £250 respectively. 100% of the proceeds will go to Marie Curie and the three lucky winners will be drawn on 19th May.
