Call to action to drive business growth in Rugby

A new initiative to help businesses in Rugby grow through working together is being launched in the town next month (April 7).

The move has been inspired by local entrepreneurs together with the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub. The initiative, named Rugby DRIVE (Developing Rugby in Vision and Entrepreneurship), will focus on helping businesses get plugged into the support and opportunities available to help them and the local economy to grow.

The aim is to help understand the day to day challenges business owners face and provide access to the information they need to overcome these barriers and grow their businesses.

The agenda will include local speakers, workshops and networking opportunities plus advice on how to access support, source suppliers locally, and make the right connections in the UK and even internationally.

The event is open to businesses of all sizes and sectors in the Rugby area. The meeting will be held from 07.30 am to 10.00 am on April 7 2017 at the Benn Hall, Newbold Road, Rugby CV21 2LN.
