Alternative flooring specialists create a car-pet of grass for unique event

 

Innovative real grass supplied byalternative flooring specialists, WowGrass,was used to transform an Oxford Street car park into a grassy oasis for a unique new event.

 

The Tasty Games chosesoil freeWowGrass to bring the outdoors, indoors for the first of a series of unique events that celebrate food and fitness.

 

Billed as a unique, socially curated fitness and food festival, the London event attracted over 250 people and was summed up by John Taba, founder of Rawligion, the healthy eating grab and go café: "Finally a fun, unique and engaging way for people to exercise, eat great food and meet the people behind the training programs and the bloggers made famous for their health-centric lifestyles!"

The Tasty Games was organised by Sean BC Farran, who was delighted with the success of the event:  "We aim to bring innovative exercise activities from leading fitness groups together with the best food from innovative healthy dining restaurants. It is a celebration of Food and Fitness and we are thrilled with the response.

"There were a lot of smiles this weekend as people arrived to this very urban underground space to be greeted with loud music, bright colours and real grass. We can't wait to do it again."


 

WowGrass's Development Manager, Caroline Littler, was proud to be associated with the unique concept: "We have transformed some amazing spaces with real, soil free WowGrass, but an underground car park is a first! Wow Grass is a versatile alternative flooring product that is soil-free, ideal for indoor and outdoor events, weddings, exhibitions and filming. It is a real grass that is grown onto a felt mat made from recycled British textiles that eliminates the potential problem of mess from soil which arises from using traditional turf.

 

The Tasty Games co-ordinate special collaborations between bloggers and culinary creatives, artists and activewear brands, record labels and gyms. The next Tasty Games event will bereleased across its social media channels, which are all @thetastygames.
