UK Company Defies Brexit Export Woes
Recently the news has been full of economic doom and gloom, reflecting on how bad Brexit has been for UK companies and in fact trade deals overall.

However for Fuzzy Brush this simply hasn't been the case. The company manufacturers Xylitol based products and is commonly known in the UK for manufacturing 'the chewable toothbrush'. In 2014, the company expanded its business by creating new products and retailing outside the EU.

Since then Fuzzy Brush has gone from strength to strength and at the end of 2016 had experienced a staggering 900% growth in export sales to
Asia, working flat out to keep up with demand.

This year Managing Director, Jim Drew is very optimistic about continued growth and is investing in new machinery to increase production.  With all products being made here in the UK, Jim says

"The Asian market  is showing really strong demand for our products. They are impressed with our manufacturing quality, our packaging and the fact that they are made in the UK. The demand to supply our branded
packs is increasing at a phenomenal rate. Add to that the increased media coverage, government drives towards dental care and reducing sugar intake (in particular the use of Xylitol in South Korea), the growth of the Xylitol market and you can see why Fuzzy Brush products are successful commodities."

And it's not just Asia that Fuzzy Brush is exporting to - Russia, UAE, India, USA, Canada, Australia and Turkey are also on the hit list... and that's not to say that Fuzzy Brush are forgetting those at home in the UK, especially with plans to launch new Healthy Eating Initiatives alongside the new "Fuzzy Kids Range".

So where then is the negativity toward UK exports?  Having developed retail products for the last 5 years, Jim has worked hard to create strong international relations outside the EU in preparation for global exportation.  As such he feels that perhaps some companies have over relied on the EU. Jim says

"It's easy to look at sales and become complacent with what you have, but with such political and economic uncertainty, we have ventured away from the EU.  We are now  looking at a different order book and have all the paperwork in place to reach new opportunities. We can work well without the EU if need be"

However, it's not been easy for Fuzzy Brush; it has taken 3 years for Fuzzy Brush to become accepted in the UK as more than just a novelty seen in service stations and to be sold in major retail outlets such as Morrisons and ASDA. Today Fuzzy Brush is sold in more than 1500 stores in the UK.

Being FDA registered and looking at British Dental Health approval this year, Fuzzy Brush stands as a solid UK manufacturing business.  Fuzzy Brush has an extensive range of new products in development and production and are currently considering offers from investors who are keen to support the companies' growth and expansion.
