Ice Cream, Kent’s premier artisan ice cream producer, is launching a delicious limited
edition Atholl Brose flavoured ice cream for Burn’s Night this year.
The new Atholl Brose flavour will be joining Simply Ice Cream’s
multi-award winning range for a limited time only. It will be available from
mid-December in 120ml and 500ml tubs from
regional farm shops, fine food stores, delicatessens, cafes, tea rooms and
restaurants across Kent, Sussex, Essex, Surrey and London.
Simply Ice Cream Atholl Brose is made with Whisky, Scottish Oats, Cream and honey, which are combined with Simply’s signature indulgently rich ice cream in the Simply Ice Cream kitchens near Ashford. The result is the sweet creamy, whisky honeyed flavour of Scottish Atholl Brose.
“Atholl Brose is a traditional Scottish drink served for Burn’s Night Celebrations and sometimes at Hogmanay.” Said Sally Newall, Managing Director of Simply Ice Cream. “There has such an increase in Burn’s Night celebrations even here in Kent that we wanted to create something that was delicious and a little bit different to add to the festivities.”
Simply Ice Cream is made by a small team in Kent producing ice cream the old fashioned way, by hand, in small batches using only locally sourced Kent ingredients (where possible), natural flavours and seasonal fruits. The ice cream is free from any syrups, mixers, additives or preservatives, offering just pure natural goodness and flavour for all the family.
The Simply Ice Cream range
includes nearly thirty taste sensations, including the award winning Heavenly
Honeycomb Crunch, Divine Chocolate, Brown Bread and Stem Ginger and Marmalade,
to name only a few. In fact, you can request to have a bespoke flavour made
exclusively for an outlet, promotion or special occasion.
