 VIPOLE enhances business solution with LDAP integration and upgraded desktop application

VIPOLE has announced significant improvements to its encrypted communications platform for business users. VIPOLE Enterprise is now compatible with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), while an upgrade to its Desktop application adds new management functions. These latest developments allow the straightforward deployment and management of VIPOLE's e2e encrypted messaging solution in a corporate environment. VIPOLE offers teams the ability to communicate and collaborate freely in an easy to use, intuitive chat environment, whilst maintaining a high degree of security thanks to its powerful end-to-end encryption.

LDAP is a directory service used within large organisations to manage users, files and network resources. Integration of LDAP within VIPOLE means that the authentication and management of users can now be accomplished via an external LDAP service, allowing VIPOLE to be rolled out simultaneously to large numbers of users on a corporate network quickly and easily. LDAP integration allows individual employees to retain their existing user profiles with logins and passwords, while extending the administration tools in VIPOLE to include the built-in Group security policies of third party services such as Windows Active Directory.

New features added to the VIPOLE Desktop client application allow Group Chat moderators greater control over participant's individual permissions. Group Chat moderators now have control over who is able to invite participants, allowing administrators to enforce strict "Group only" rules, or a more flexible environment that allows other VIPOLE users to join conversations. Moderators are also able to control whether joining members are able to view chat history, and whether chat conversations will self-delete after a predetermined period of time. This means that moderators are able to bring participants into a Group Chat spontaneously to share information relevant to the topic under discussion, but without them being able to see what was being discussed before they joined, or share their conversation with others later.

VIPOLE Enterprise is a fully equipped business communications platform that allows encrypted voice and video conferencing as well as instant messaging. It is the only fully e2e encrypted communications platform that was designed specifically for business use. Data within VIPOLE is strongly encrypted to prevent it being accessed by any unauthorised person or crawled by marketing algorithms.
