Castles’ Mark Noble joins SMASH Youth Project fundraiser on Ridgeway Run
Castles’ Mark Noble joins SMASH Youth Project fundraiser on Ridgeway Run

Mark Noble, managing director of leading independent estate agent, Castles Residential Sales & Lettings, joined nutritionist Jamie Richards on the hilly five mile Ridgeway Run on Saturday 24 September.

Castles is sponsoring Jamie, who is aiming to raise £30,000 for SMASH Youth Project, the Swindon youth mentoring charity. Castles has donated £1,200 towards Jamie’s target.

Also joining Mark and Jamie on the run was Gary Price, Financial Adviser at Mortgage Advice Bureau Swindon.

The Ridgeway Run starts and finishes in Ashbury and takes in Ashdown House, Uffington White Horse Hill, Wayland’s Smithy along the Ridgeway and surrounding countryside.

For Jamie, Saturday’s event was the first in a gruelling series of physical challenges that will culminate in the legendary Berghaus Dragon’s Back Race™ in May 2017. This is a five-day adventure covering 300 kilometres and climbing 16,000 metres through the wild, trackless, remote and mountainous terrain of Wales from north to south. It holds ‘toughest race’ status, being classed as the toughest five-day mountain running race in the world.

Speaking after the Ridgeway Run, Mark said: “What Jamie is doing for SMASH Youth Project is amazing. The physical demands of the challenges he’s committed himself to, not to mention the training involved, are awe-inspiring. And it’s all for such a great cause. SMASH Youth Project plays a vital role in the lives of many vulnerable young people in Swindon. At Castles, we’re delighted to support Jamie with his fundraising aims and join him at events such as this.”

Jamie is a nutrition, health and performance consultant. He works with individuals, organisations, teams and athletes across Bristol and the south west, helping them regain health, optimise their weight and boost their performance.

SMASH Youth Project has been running for over 16 years. It gives young people aged 9-19 years the chance to become everything they can be through mentoring. Since 1999, the charity has helped over 1,000 young people transform their lives.

With 285 customer reviews on allAgents.co.uk, Castles enjoys an overall customer rating of 4.8 out of 5. The business is ranked 86 out of 14,950 UK estate agents on the site as of 27 September 2016.

It was handpicked by Cartus, the world’s premier provider of relocation services as Swindon’s only relocation agent and was selected for memberships with The Guild of Professional Estate Agents and The Relocation Agent Network.

The company won the Wiltshire Small Business of the Year award in 2007 and The Relocation Agent Network’s Best Agent regional award for Wiltshire in 2011 and 2012. In 2014, Castles finished runner-up and received a commendation in the latter award.

Last year, Castles won two awards at the 2015 allAgents Awards. The company took home the prizes for the best sales agent and the best lettings agent in Swindon.
