Dimpsey Glamping brings even more luxury to their Somerset retreat with the addition of the Hikki Hot Tub
Dimpsey Glamping is a 5* glamping retreat that's all about luxury and the Somerset-based retreat is adding to guests' boutique experience with a high end Hikki hot tub.
Hikki hot tubs aim to bring indoors out and Dimpsey owner Emma is delighted to add a wood-fired hot tub alongside the Turnkey oak clad shepherd's hut in which guests stay, and bespoke fire pit and garden oven. She says: ‘Hikki combine both modern designs and the ancient concept of hot tubs to provide an ultimate relaxing sensation that will be perfect for the year-round glamping that we offer at Dimpsey.
‘We envisage guests will want to fill and light the hot tub, and have some supper whilst it's warming up. We've placed the hot tub in a very private walled area, which still allow guests to watch the dusk come in - after all it's that Dimpsey half light that we're named after.'
Dimpsey is also a great star-watching location. Emma adds: ‘What's more luxurious and yet at one with nature that sitting back in the hot tub and watching the cosmos overhead?!'
Glamping is all the rage, and the Cotswolds is the perfect area to partake in this delightful activity. If you prefer slippers to wellies; hot tea in a pot to luke warm sludge in flask; and listening to the beat of the rain against a window whilst wrapped up in a sheepskin rug rather than getting soaked, then glamping might just be for you. Glamping and shepherd's huts are bang on trend and Dimpsey retreat is run by Somerset couple Emma and Andrew Warren, who describe their idyllic shepherd's hut as "an all-in experience helping busy people to get some quality time together". Located on Emma and Andrew's small farm at the foot of the Blackdown Hills in Somerset, this is an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty (AONB) in the Cotswolds and it can't really get more picture postcard than this.
