September PSPO course next up in Advanced Product Delivery’s Scrum series
September PSPO course next up in Advanced Product Delivery’s Scrum series

Advanced Product Delivery is continuing its series of Professional Scrum training with a focus on the Product Owner (PSPO) courses, in partnership with Framework Training.

The company, which uses evidence-based management to improve the way clients build products, is running the two-day courses at Marble Arch in London on:

  • 12 - 13 September 2016
  • 7 - 8 November 2016
  • 16 - 17 January 2017

With the August edition of the course imminent, places are now filling up for the 12- 13 September event. Secure your place(s) here.

Aimed at product managers, Scrum Product Owners, IT and software development managers and architect and strategy managers, the PSPO course will show you how to maximise value within your products and systems. Agile Product Ownership today requires more than the ability to write a user story or manage a product backlog. This course builds the necessary understanding – from early stakeholder engagement to release planning and delivery. Topics covered include:

  •  agile product development
  • the Scrum product owner
  • requirement, products and release management
  • lean planning
  • value-driven development

The PSPO course has two associated credentials: Professional Scrum Product Owner level I (PSPO I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner level II (PSPO II).

When you complete the Professional Scrum Product Owner course, you’ll receive a password to take the PSPO I assessment and a discount on the PSPO II assessment.

These industry-recognised certifications require a minimum passing score from a rigorous assessment. Scrum.org maintains a public list of everyone holding the PSPO I and II credentials.

Advanced Product Delivery helps individuals, teams and organisations across the UK. The business uses the Scrum.org, custom courses and bespoke Visual Studio training to help clients focus on value.

Simon Reindl, founder and director of Advanced Product Delivery, is presenting the PSPO courses. Simon is fully qualified to lead the full range of Professional Scrum Training courses (PSF, PSD .NET, PSM, PSPO and SPS) and coach people at all levels in technical and managerial roles. An experienced coach, trainer, speaker and technologist, he has 20 years’ experience in helping organisations in the private and public sectors adopt new technology and add value to their offerings.

Editors’ note

Scrum is a process framework that cuts through complexity to focus on building software that meets business needs, while managing risk. It enables management and teams to assess requirements and technologies and deliver working software, incrementally and empirically. Scrum is a simple framework for effective team collaboration on complex software projects.
