Kent, United Kingdom, Tuesday 12thJuly 2016:Publicity agency Literally PR Ltd (www.literallypr.com)will host its fourth summer party at Beaufort House in Chelsea, London tomorrow evening (Wednesday 13thJuly). Tickets, released in March 2016, sold out within four weeks and a waiting list has been in operation since highlighting the growing popularity of these annual events and continued interest in original networking events in the Capital.

[image]Director and founder of Literally PR, Helen Lewis, explains the reason behind continuing the annual investment in the summer parties: "With all the doom and gloom, stress and anxiety dominating the headlines, what could be better than a party in a gorgeous venue surrounded by genuine and lovely people? We've been organising informal networking events since 2006 and each year we try to make it bigger, better, more original and more successful than the previous years. There are more networking events happening in London each week than ever before, so we realise we have a lot of competition, but we've never had a summer party sell out so quickly. We're not a big agency, we don't have fancy offices, but we are a hard-working bunch and we are standing the test of time. I've been working in publishing, journalism and PR for 15 years now and my food&drink website -www.foodanddrinktowers.com- celebrates its 10thbirthday later this year. We relish in the opportunity to thank everyone we've worked with during the year by meeting up and enjoying a cocktail or two. Literally PR has worked with more than 110 clients over the past four years. Investment in the organisation and hosting of an informal event such as the Literally Summer Media Party is now part of our annual plan and long may it continue."

This year, LitPR (which specialises in supporting authors, publishers, literary festivals, food and drinks brands and entrepreneurs) invited mixologists to put forward recipe ideas for a signature Literally Summer Cocktail. The winner is Iain Meldrum, also known as the Mixolosopher, and we put two of his suggestions to the vote on social media.

Iain Meldrum describes the winning cocktail - The Grapefruit & Elderflower Cup - as the perfect summer cooler. The Literally Summer Cocktail requires a generous glug of premium gin mixed with zesty grapefruit liqueur and lemon juice and is tempered with fragrant elderflower syrup, mint and pressed apple. Iain says: "I am an accomplished cocktail mixologist, trainer and drinks writer from Scotland. I have won several competitions, taking me to such far-flung locales as Poland, China and the Caribbean, and give regular spirit and cocktail masterclasses. I also contribute to numerous magazines and specialist publications. I see this party as an opportunity to share my passion with like-minded people, make some new acquaintances and have a blummin' good time. And what better ice-breaker than "I created that cocktail you're enjoying"?"

Guests will be invited to create their own goody bags to take home with them - of course there will be lots of books available as well as other goodies! They will also be joined by five of LitPR's VIP clients who will be sharing their latest news and open to questions throughout the evening:

Mary Roe, food intolerance specialist with decades of experience and author of a new book, out last month, entitled Food Intolerance Solutions (published by Filament Publishing).
