Specialist security firm invests in customer service following a year of rapid growth

Midlands based Scan-X security has announced that they will be putting their customers at the heart of their business following a year of rapid growth. During 2015, Scan-X relocated to a new, bigger office and factory site and have also recently opened a dedicated client demonstration area, as part of their on going expansion and emphasis on customer service. The security firm's new client demonstration area will allow potential clients to see the operation of their security x-ray machines, archway metal detectors and handheld detection wands in action.

Customer service, in any industry, is proving to be one of the most important factors in a business gaining and retaining new clients. In fact, customers are no longer satisfied with just being promised a good experience - recent research has shown that 55% of consumers are willing to pay extra to be guaranteed a good level of service. The study also found that 84% of consumers are frustrated when their sales advisor does not know enough about what they are selling. Not only have Scan-X Security implemented their new customer dedication area to cater for client demand, their team are also all qualified to help with any customer query according to the firm's Client Services Director, Paul Latham.

Paul Latham said, "Our purpose designed equipment demonstration area allows our customers see first-hand how our leading equipment would work and look on site. Clients can also test items for screening. One client, who recently tested one of our archway metal detectors for loss prevention/theft detection purposes, was impressed that the archways could even pick up cigarette packets due to the metal strip on the box. We have had nothing but praise for our service, and are excited about where this ‘added extra' will take us in 2016".

The team at Scan-X security have recently secured contracts for the protection of MP's at the National Assembly for Wales, an AGM at a well-known UK bank and at The Alexander Palace to protect the GLA Elections this month.
