York ice cream maker is awarded races contract for the ninth year

 

A York ice cream maker has won the contract to supply York Races with its premium, farm made dairy ice cream for the ninth consecutive year.

 

Yorvale has been chosen to supply the hospitality areas at the racecourse with a range of flavours from its farm based factory in Acaster Malbis, just three miles from the racecourse.

 

Amongst the flavours to delight the race-goers at the May Dante Meeting from 11th- 13thMay isApple Strudel and Clotted Cream flavours.Other ‘Race Day Specials' include Blueberry for the May Spring Meeting,Sea Salted Caramel and Maple Walnutin June and daily specials for the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival in August includeIce Cream Alliance award winners Chocolate Orange and Rhubarb and Custard plus Praline Pecan and Raspberry Cheesecake.

 

The Dante Meeting marks the beginning of 17 days of quality racing that includes the popular Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival and Ladies Day (17thto 20thAugust).
