Phil Bolland - Full Frequency

Phil Bolland has been appointed CNWL's interim Borough Director for Westminster - a post he will cover until current borough director, Nicola Hazle, returns from maternity leave next year.

Phil, 50, is currently CNWL's Brent Deputy Director and has been working for CNWL for the past three years, having worked previously in Hertfordshire, where he lives, and Brighton.

With a background in acute mental health care, Phil has been at home in London where he has been in at the deep end of crisis care, home treatment, rapid response and inpatient care. He recently oversaw CNWL's move to single sex wards at Park Royal.

He thinks it will be a challenging and rewarding experience for him in this politically high-profile Borough.

"I think this will be a great experience for me and I'm looking forward to meeting the whole Westminster team and our partners, so let's get to work."

Married for 28 years, his wife is a children's social worker (for a council in Bedfordshire) and they have three sons, aged 25, 23 and 21 - his eldest just about to get married.

Phil comes from Kirby in Merseyside and once had a football trial with Everton when he was a teenager.

He's also a bit of a DJ - playing Rhythm and Bass for fun and was once the singer in a band.
