Beat the 'Rail Rip Off' with Trainsplit & Split ticketing

Hi

It's fair enough making passengers rather than taxpayers pay more of the cost of running our railways. Continually increasing fares though is not the only way to cover the costs. Bringing prices down makes train travel more affordable for more people and will attract a new generation of rail users. Look at easyJet, its prices on UK routes are lower now than they were 20 years ago, no wonder they are thriving.

Reducing fares is what we are doing with our split ticketing site, Trainsplit.com, which over the Christmas period was £23 cheaper than buying on any other site. Travellers were paying more than they needed to by booking on train operator web sites which makes it hardly surprising there's all the talk of "rip offs".

Kind regards

Mike
