Due to an event at Alexandra Head, Cardiff Bay Barrage will be closed from 3pm tomorrow (15^thSept) until approximately 11.30pm. Boats will still be able to enter and exit Cardiff Bay via the lock gates.

Ticketholder access to the event is from the Porth Teigr end of the Barrage only. There is no access from the Penarth side. Anybody wishing to walk or cycle to the event from Penarth will need to cross the Barrage to Porth Teigr before 3pm, or cross via Pont Y Werin bridge.

Road closures will be in place on Britannia Quay / Harbour Dr / Porth Teigr Way (at the roundabout by the entrance to the Barrage) from 3pm as well.

Additional car parking will be available at County Hall from midday (£5).
