Winter Maintenance Team

All gritters working to keep primary routes operational.

Arrangements are in place to transfer grit from Lamby Way to Brindley Road depot - ongoing

Teams allocated to filling grit bins, clearing outer suburb shopping areas, doctors, hospital entrances, Hubs etc. 

Cardiff Market

The market closed at 2pm, reviewing the position for Friday 

Tourist Information Centre

The Tourist Information in Cardiff Bay (WMC) closed at 3pm 

Waste and Recycling Collections 

Domestic and Commercial collections are suspended today and Friday 

Bulky waste and recycling collections have been suspended 

Household Waste Recycling Centres 

All (Bessemer Close, Lamby Way and Wedal Road) centres are closed

Education 

The local authority has advised schools to remain closed tomorrow. The decision sits with Headteachers and Chairs of Governors. Parents are advised to check for messages from their schools for the latest information.
