Cardiff Castle hosts Ghostly Knights, watch out as the Castle grounds are taken over with spooky storytelling and fearsome combat displays. Creepy Crawlies is back with real creepy crawly encounters including snakes, lizards and spiders to name a few. For those who dare, why not visit the Hallowe'en Underground Cinema or pick up aHallowe'en Trail and see if you can find the answers to the puzzles around the site.
Be our guest, be our gust at St David's Hall asSing-a-Long-a-Beauty and the Beastarrives for two fun-filled family shows. Earlier this year, the 1991 Disney classic became a live-action box office smash, and now it will be shown at the National Concert Hall of Wales. With the help of on-screen lyrics everyone can sing along with Belle, the Beast, Gaston, Cogsworth, Mrs Potts and Chip!
Whatever the weather, Cardiff Bay is a breath of fresh air and has something to keep children of ages entertained. Walking or cycling the circular Bay Trail is a great way to get to know the Bay better and enjoy some spectacular views. The full route is just over 6 miles/10km with places of interest, as well as wildlife, play areas and a variety of cafés and ice cream outlets along the way. For an interactive experience, little explorers can download the Tiger Bay Trail App and have fun discovering the history of the area along the way.
Children in search of adrenaline-filled adventures will find them at the award-winning Cardiff International White Water (CIWW), where lots of activities are on offer in one amazing place. They'll have a blast riding jets of water on a body-board with Indoor Wave, particularly as the double lane design enables family and friends to perfect their skills together.
Other activities include canoeing and kayaking taster sessions, Air Trail featuring high ropes and zip wires that tower above the white water course, the climbing wall and bike hire.
Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Cllr Peter Bradbury said: "Cardiff is a great city for providing a diverse range of activities during the school holidays and this half term looks set to have something for every age. From arts and crafts, theater, sport or Halloween themed activities, parents and carer's will have no problem keeping the children entertained."
Over in our parks you can enjoy spooktacular walks, pumpkin carving and an autumn wildlife event at Bute Park. At Forest Farm children can get messy as they create a piece of autumn art from leaves, nuts and berries to take home.

Cardiff Story Museum will host Magical Machines, inspired by the artwork of famed local artist Charles Byrd and Llanover Hall will hold a host of children's workshops including spooky clay, poetry, Halloween costumes and bonfire arts and crafts.

On Friday 3rd November Willows High School will host a community safety partnership Bonfire Night with fireworks, lasers and music. Sparks in the Park will return to Coopers Field for a magnificent fireworks display on Saturday 4thNovember.
