Prestigio launches smart health technology product range to UK market

2014 is the year of 'mobile health' and wearable technology devices. According to ABI Research* in five years the number of wearable wireless health and fitness devices will hit 169.5 million worldwide, up from almost 21 million such devices last year. There has already been a huge rise, with market data from GfK**, showing the number of mobile-connected blood pressure monitors purchased last year rising by 42% across Great Britain, Germany, France and the Netherlands, compared to 2012, while connected personal weighing scales increased by an incredible 88%.
