Sunseeker, Princess and Others Set Sail for Southampton Boat Show

Boats from around the World are Setting Sail for TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show

SOUTHAMPTON, 12th JULY, 2018: TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show is set to host some of the most spectacular boats in the world at its 50th anniversary Show this September (14-23). Amongst others, Sunseeker International and Princess Yachts are bringing some of their finest vessels to the annual event, moored alongside smaller craft designed for the more classic cruising enthusiast. The Show will be a celebration of the lifestyle, fun and excitement that being on the water has to offer and has become a calendar staple not only with the sailing fraternity, but with families looking for an amazing day out.

Some of the nautical wonders which will be afloat at the event are:

-          Sunseeker International, for the first time ever, will be boasting all of its six latest models of opulent yachts on the water, premiering the ground-breaking Predator 50, which sets a new benchmark when it comes to smaller boat luxury, and its flagship Predator 74 will also be making its Show debut. The model can, depending on the owner's wishes, be transformed into an ‘open' yacht for warmer regions or a ‘closed' yacht in cooler climates

-          Classic yacht brand, Spirit Yachts, is launching the new DH63 yacht at the Show. Proven to be designers of boats worthy of even Britain's most famous spy, one of their renowned sailing yachts starred as Daniel Craig's transport of choice into Venice in the James Bond film Casino Royale. Their sleek new 19.2m model is designed for cruising and racing in both the UK and the Caribbean as well as turning heads with its swan-like, refined beauty

-          British luxury boatbuilder, Princess Yachts, is also set to attend, following a record-breaking year in which orders hit £750m with 2018 set to continue in the same vein. To celebrate they are bringing along the Princess 30M, which as the name suggests is 30 metres in length and is thought to be the biggest boat at the Show!

-         Posh pedalo makers, Dad's Boats, will also be showing off the best of British craftsmanship with their beautiful pedalos going for over £10,500 each

-          The rise of the reimagined Fairline Yachts is one of the biggest successes stories in the industry of recent times, following a few troubled years for the motor yacht builders after three decades at the top of the industry. They are on their way back and are looking to enter the thriving superyacht market for the first time ever, driving the need for an expansion programme and bigger premises. Look out for them at the Show!

But it's not just all about yachts and boats at the Show. There will be the breadth of nautical life present:

-          Four young British friends, otherwise known as "Oar Inspiring" will be at the Show ahead of their participation in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.  Starting at the small port of San Sebastian in La Gomera (Canary Islands), competitors will cross the Atlantic to English Harbour in Antigua. More people have scaled Everest than completed the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge! The boys are raising money for Starlight, a national children's charity that is dedicated to brightening the lives of children and teenagers from a serious of terminal illness

-          The Sailor's Society is celebrating its 200th Anniversary at the Show. They have an innovative way of funding the charity through a coffee business, selling a range of their own coffee for home, office and business use, which is available online to over 28 countries and 100% of their profits are donated back to the charity

-          From Sir Ben Ainslie's INEOS Team UK to providing ropes for the incredible Cirque Du Soleil via James Bond film sets, Marlow Ropes have demonstrated an incredible versatility when it comes to rope use. Their rope workshops at the Show are a ‘must attend' for anyone who needs to know about rope maintenance

-          Torqeedo have a diverse range of customers, including GoBoat London, The Queen's Rowbarge Gloriana and the BBC's National History Documentary team. They are known for their revolutionary designs with electric propulsion systems and development of sustainable and modern mobility on the water
