Yorkshire Wolds poultry business gains new business from Coventry catering butcher

East Yorkshire-basedSoanes Poultryhas won new business from established family run catering butcher, Aubrey Allen.

The Middleton-on-the-Wolds businessnow supplies its award winning chicken to Aubrey Allen wholesale butcher and cheese supplier in Coventry.

Established in 1933 by orphan Aubrey Allen in a back street in Coventry, the eponymous business has grown to become a leading national catering butcher and was awarded a Royal Warrant by appointment to the Queen in 2013. The Aubrey Allen business also includes a retail butcher's shop, a training division and the Michelinrecommended French bistro and steakhouse, Oscars.

Soanes Poultry is a family owned business that has been rearing and preparing chicken for over 70 years. It employs 120 people and rears five million chickens a year on its Yorkshire Wolds farms and also sells its chicken and game to butchers and independent retailers throughout Yorkshire and nationwide.
