Spooky surprises in store from SARH

Spooky treats are in store for youngsters attending a free event at Stafford Children's Centre on Friday, October 30.

Organised by Stafford and Rural Homes (SARH) as part of its popular Community Learning Programme, the Creepy Crafts for Kids event provides the ideal opportunity to enjoy some seasonal half-term fun.

Aimed at children aged 2 years and above, activities include making Halloween masks and spooky decorations, and everyone can take home and keep their ghoulish creations.

All fun at the Children's Centre in Faraday Road gets underway at 10.00am and runs until 1.00pm. As well as being free to attend, all materials will be provided.

The event is just one of around 80 free workshops and events that make up this year's Community Learning Programme which aims to help build stronger communities. As well as providing plenty of family fun, it includes short courses and one-off events designed to help adults improve their chances of landing a job or finding a new direction in life.

Further details about the Halloween event and the rest of the Community Learning Programme are available by visiting www.sarh.co.uk/contact-us/events/.
