RUGBY WORLD CUP FANS MAULED BY HIGH TRAIN FARES.

International fans seeking to follow their teams around Britain will be in for a shock when booking train fares to stadiums. Britain's complicated fares and a host of Big Train Operators to deal with, will test any pack looking for bargain travel. Getting to stadiums like Exeter, Cardiff or Newcastle fans will cry foul as British fares are some of the highest in Europe, where a lot of their fares are highly government subsidised.

There are ways to beat the scrum for reasonably priced tickets though. Always book in advance, even one day ahead can save. If going to more than one game look into buying a Railcard, like a 2 Together, Family Railcard, or 16-25, or some of the others. Check out Split ticketing through the train buffs online site TrainSplit, where you can find savings on 60% of journeys which provide an average additional saving of 30% compared to any other train booking site. Beating high fare prices this World cup will require stamina and some jinking runs.
