For many people low self esteem, depression and anxiety are becoming and ever more increasing problem there's new hope for sufferers thanks to a unique online course designed and delivered by a Stafford-based psychotherapist.

Combining both western approaches to mental health and eastern yoga practices, the Emotional Wellbeing course is being run by Sue Tupling, an expert in Neuro-Linguistic Therapy (NLPt).

Sue, the proprietor of therapy and wellbeing company Embodied Living, is looking for 25 volunteers to participate free of charge in the first cohort. She will donate future proceeds from the course to charity and says she's on a mission to help people cope with the day-to-day pressures of modern life.

"The emotional wellbeing/Yoga course is designed to help people relieve the symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, low self esteem," she explained.

"The course consists of eight weekly 90 minute sessions and will cover theory and practice of the western and yogic aspects of yoga and mental health. I need a small group to try the course, after which I will launch it properly."

By running the course online, using a type of learning known as ‘moodling', including audio, video and other digital resources. Sue hopes the course will attract many people who may not have considered seeking help in the past.

"Moodling also helps to reduce costs for those taking part and can be much more convenient than attending a group or individual therapy session," Sue added.
