Hornsea cafe team fundraises for Macmillan

Enterprising staff at an award winning Hornsea Farm Shop and Cafe raised over £300 for Macmillan during the World's Biggest Coffee Morning last month.

The initiative was organised by the café team at William's Farm Kitchen and raised the money from a tombola with home-made cakes and other donated items.

Caroline Armitage led the enthusiastic café team and was delighted with the amount raised: "It was a great team effort that was topped off by Mark's generous donation of £1 for every cup of coffee sold that day."

Mark Farnsworth, owner of William's Farm Kitchen was very proud of his team: "The staff all work incredibly hard and to organise this event on top of their busy jobs in the café was very impressive."

William's Farm Kitchen is an award-winning farm shop, butchery and café. It has established an excellent reputation for its great value local food and its food based events that include Meet the Producer Days and Steak Nights. It has raised over £3000 for local and national charities during 2014.
