. The website promotes the range of specialist materials, including stainless steel, duplex, titanium and nickel alloy in sheet and strip for the gasket manufacturing industry worldwide.

Paul Massey, Managing Director, explains: "The Strip & Alloys business, which is part of Barrett Energy Products Division, offers offshore pipeline protection, supplying metallic sheets and winding wire materials to the gasket manufacturing industry on a global basis. The compan[image]y also acts as a specialist supplier to other nickel alloy stockists. The new website will be a vital tool for our customers in the oil & gas sector, including high integrity specialist fabricators and manufacturers of platforms, process and refinery equipment, pressure vessels and reactors."

Another vital part of the Barrett Strip & Alloys' commitment to the gasket manufacturing sector is the expansion to the Barrett on-the-ground facility in Houston, Texas, which previously solely specialised in raw materials for downhole tool and equipment. Headed by Paul Massey the BSA Houston office serves the oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil and brings together oilfield specialists with a variety of complementary skills. The office shares facilities with Barrett Steel Energy Products, working together to provide a complete solution to the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
