Mike appointed to head Thorite's expanding Systems Division

The UK's biggest independent distributor of pneumatic products and process systems, Thorite, recently carried out a rebranding exercise, one of the results of which was to focus growth strategy on key markets by ensuring the company is equipped to meet the needs of modern manufacturing and processing industries.
To help facilitate this Thorite has appointed Mike Perry (47) to head up Thorite's expanding automation technology capabilities as Business Development Manager- Systems Division. 

Mike lives in Sheffield, joined Thorite in 2009 and was previously a Major Account Manager. His new responsibility will be to develop and promote key technologies including electronic control systems, field-bus systems, servo/stopper motor control systems, linear actuator control systems and data acquisition systems to Thorite's many UK manufacturing, industrial, food and pharmaceutical processing customers. 

Mike's appointment marks the first stage in Thorite's increased investment and expansion of its systems capabilities and recruitment of further expertise and manpower is already planned.
Speaking of the new appointment Stephen Wright, Thorite's Managing Director said:
