A Beverley skincare doctor has been invited to address delegates at a meeting of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists in Dublin next month (3rd May).

Dr Steventon, founder of independent skincare consultancy, FaceWorkshops,is proud to be invited to address the meeting: "Sensory aspects of skincare enrich consumer's well-being. Understanding the experience of product application and the impact different touch techniques have on skin biology is essential when developing new skincare products.

"Cultures around the world approach touch differently; in order to be adopted and enhance product efficacy, application techniques should reflect cultural paradigms."

The Society of Cosmetic Scientists promotes education, research and collaboration to advance the science of cosmetics.

Dr. Steventon uses her PhD in skin science combined with her professional facial therapy training to provide clients with a bespoke package of scientifically validated products combined with facial therapies at her clinic in the heart of the historic town of Beverley in East Yorkshire.
