The
Whitewed Directory launches its new website on March 29, giving engaged couples
plenty of time to make use of this exceptional platform for essential 'wedmin'
over the Easter break.
The Whitewed Directory have heavily invested in the new website which uses the best technology on the market and has been developed by multi-award-winning web design agency, Gel Studios. This is the next stage in growing the brand, supporting their members and ensuring they’re getting out there and appealing even more to their target market.
The Whitewed Directory is the ultimate resource
for planning a wedding in the counties of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. The Directory provides details of 22 different
types of supplier - ranging from bands and musicians to bridal fashion and venues,
marquee & tipis. The Whitewed Directory has a justifiable reputation across
the south-west for only listing fully-vetted, approved and accredited wedding suppliers
and it's hoped the Directory will soon be rolled out across the South West, and
ultimately, nationally.
Natalie Lovett, managing director of The
Whitewed Directory said: "We're proud to announce the launch of our new
website as we know how important our services have already proved to engaged
couples and newlyweds in our locality, and our new website moves us on to the
next level in wedding planning and helps get us ready for a South West rollout".
The wedding industry is changing, and recent
research highlighted that 49% of couples now find their wedding suppliers through
internet searches, so it's crucial for wedding suppliers to maintain an
up-to-date and appealing website. The difference with Whitewed is that the
company vets all venues and suppliers to ensure they provide satisfactory
standards. The Whitewed Directory also prides itself on keeping up with current
trends and search habits.
The launch of the new Whitewed Directory website
will take the business to the next level. It is already an enviable platform which
acts as a one-stop shop for engaged couples to source a vetted wedding venue
and suppliers while gaining inspiration and top tips at the same time. The new
website provides even more inspiration and places the user experience of
engaged couples and wedding supplier members at the forefront, offering an even
more enhanced experience as a result.
Natalie adds “The site is now far more visual
and enticing. A survey of visitors showed that 74% of engaged couples wanted to
see more real weddings in the package. We have delivered on this by adding our
dedicated Real Wedding Ideas section, which can be filtered according to
wedding theme, venue type and season. Around 64% of visitors wanted more
practical planning tools, while 68% asked for more planning advice and all this
information will be supplied via our Planning Hub and the new blog which will
feature top tips and planning.”
Directory pages have also been enhanced, with
greater use of imagery, videos and inspirations to entice the viewing couple to
book services. It's possible that supplier members will discover The Whitewed
Directory pages rank above their own pages in search engines as they have been
so well resourced.
For wedding supplier members there is now a
dedicated login which allows the addition and amendment of their Directory
pages and makes it easy to upload their own real weddings or apply for The
Whitewed Directory Awards as often as they wish and at their convenience.
The Wedding Directory collaborated with Gel
Studios in Swindon to produce their new website design and they are extremely
proud of the result of this work.
