Last few early bird tickets for Talent in Logistics

Last few early bird tickets for Talent in Logistics

Only a limited amount of Early Bird tickets for the Talent in Logistics 2018 Conference & Awards remain.  The special discounted prices for attending the daytime conference, evening awards event or both, are only available until 2nd March 2018.

Taking place on 21st June 2018 at the Telford International Centre, West Midlands, the industry-leading Talent in Logistics Conference offers the only relevant professional development opportunity for learning and development professionals working in the logistics or transport industry.  Attendees can attend and take part in debates, workshops and panel discussions, as well as learning from experts in seminars specially tailored to learning and development professionals in logistics.

For example, world-class psychologist and HR expert Professor Adrian Furnham will deliver a keynote presentation on the psychology behind attracting individuals from diverse, under-represented groups of society to careers in the transport, warehousing and logistics sector.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue will also share their experiences of attending to forklift accidents as part of a thought-provoking session on ‘Lift Truck Incidents – Emergency Actions’. Laura Nelson, Managing Director of RTITB, the preferred workplace transport training regulatory body, will also deliver a seminar debunking ‘Forklift training myths’ in order to help employers understand when training is, or isn’t, required.

DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) has also confirmed that they will be sharing their plans for the future of vocational training and testing in a valuable seminar, while Andrew Hopkin of Browne Jacobson, an expert in HSE (Health & Safety Executive) prosecutions, will present practical tips on managing workplace transport incidents and investigations.

Talent in Logistics is the only conference and awards event completely dedicated to the exceptional training, learning and skills professionals in the logistics, transport and warehousing industries. Following the sell-out success of the 2017 Talent in Logistics Conference, the Early Bird ticket offer gives logistics professionals the chance to secure their place without delay, and benefit from a special discounted rate. In addition, CILT UK members will be awarded 3 hours CPD for attending.

The Talent in Logistics Awards follows the daytime conference.  The special evening will be hosted by affable Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling, who will bring his easy-going, roguish charm from Gillette Soccer Saturday to the Talent in Logistics Awards.  The Awards evening includes a luxury three-course meal, drinks reception and entertainment.  The evening event provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for businesses to network with potential customers and suppliers.

However, above all it provides a chance to reward team members and celebrate training excellence and future talent in the logistics and transport industry.

Early bird rates are also available for those attending the awards.

To secure tickets, visit www.talentinlogistics.co.uk/buy-tickets by 2nd March 2018.

After this time, great value individual and group tickets will be available for the Talent in Logistics Conference and the Awards. Combined tickets which provide the benefits of both events can also be purchased at a discounted rate, even after the Early Bird offer has finished.
