Blacks Business Brokers gears up for a record 2018 with key appointments

  • Experienced transfer specialist Chelsea Melnyk recruited to drive growth in Abacus Day Nursery Sales division

  • Six more new staff appointed to sales and operations roles

  • Further recruitment drives planned for 2018

2 February 2018: Blacks Business Brokers, the national business transfer specialist headquartered in Bury, Greater Manchester, has made a number of key hires as it prepares for a record year. The new recruits will help support the delivery of its business plan as Blacks builds up its corporate business and develops its recently launched specialist childcare division, Abacus Day Nursery Sales.

Blacks has appointed Chelsea Melnyk as Client Care Executive, a role in which she will focus in particular on expanding the Abacus Day Nursery Sales arm of the business. Chelsea has more than a decade's experience in business transfer and her role will include negotiating offers as well as managing the sales process through to completion.

Chelsea said, "One of my main reasons for joining Blacks was its excellent reputation for customer service, which I feel is vital so that our clients can see how important they are to us and build a great working relationship. I hope to be able to build on this and help cement our reputation as the leading business broker in the UK.

"I am particularly keen to start working in earnest on the Abacus Day Nursery Sales brand. Childcare businesses require a different approach from virtually any other sector, with the need for confidentiality, discretion and sensitivity paramount throughout the process. I am really looking forward to working with the owners of these very special businesses to achieve successful sales."

The other new recruits are Sales Operation Coordinator Ian Ratcliffe, Inside Sales Executives Leonie Duffy, Fionn Fallon and Jayke Patton, Operations Assistant Callum Pollard and Business Development Executive Tre James.

Chris Rowlands, Managing Director of Blacks Business Brokers, said, "We are really please to welcome Chelsea, Ian, Leonie, Fionn, Jayke, Callum and Tre on board. We have had a really strong start to the year already, with some great completions and double the number of viewings in the first week of January compared to the same period in 2017, and we have some really ambitious plans for the rest of 2018.

"I am sure that each of our new team members will play a key role in our growth during the rest of the year and beyond. They won't be the last people to join us this year, either, as we have further recruitment drives planned for later in 2018."
