Menopause experts and case studies available
Menopause experts available from The Women's Health Clinic

Menopause is a topic that is growing in popularity and frequently trends on social media.

Just this week BBC Radio 4 has partnered with BBC Radio Sheffield for a week long series on the impact of menopause on women's lives and The Guardian produced this article on guidelines from the British Menopause Society (BMS) that say workplaces should cater for menopausal woman as they do for pregnant ones.

Not to mention the ongoing debate about whether HRT really is good for you and whether there are any other alternatives.

Well there is, and we have a lady who is more than happy to put the record straight when it comes to menopause.

Aly Dilks is the Clinic Director of The Women's Health Clinic and still works as a Senior RN for a GP's clinic 3-days a week. It was her own experience of the menopause that led her to become a member of the British Menopause Society, a rare achievement for a nurse, and to also try the experimental Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy e.g. monitoring the body's level via blood tests and then treating accordingly.

Aly is more than happy to comment on the matter, as she is regularly approached by sites such as HuffPost and NetDoctor for her expertise.

The Women's Health Clinic also has peri-menopausal (from 28 onwards), menopausal, HRT and BHRT case studies if you are working on anything, many still exclusive.

With clinics across 9 UK locations The Women's Health Clinic can also add a local angle to your comment.

Clinics are currently available in:

Bristol
Birmingham
Brighton
Halifax
Nottingham
Leicester
London
Liverpool
Manchester

If you would like to speak to Aly or any of our other lovely nurses (13 in total) with specialist skills from urinary, midwives, gynaecology, sexual health and contraception, do give us a call. For more information on BHRT please see: https://www.thewomenshealth.clinic/menopause/
