REINDEER PICTURE WINS DUNDAS SHOPPING CENTRE’S

CHRISTMAS CARD COMPETITION

A picture of a reindeer with the words “Merry Dundasmas” took first place in Middlesbrough’s Dundas Shopping Centre’s Christmas card competition.

Nine year old Alex from Middlesbrough used a YouTube video to learn how to draw a reindeer for his entry.  He wins a 30 minute family photoshoot with photography business LTG photography and £50 to spend on prints with LD Printing.  Alex’s winning entry will become Dundas Shopping Centre’s official Christmas card this year.

“We loved the picture of the reindeer and we were particularly impressed the way Alex changed Christmas into Dundasmas.  We have got a great Christmas card for 2017,” says Dundas Market Manager David Harris.

Alfie from Middlesbrough took the second prize of a £50 Middlesbrough FC club shop voucher, while Evie Mae, aged 10, also from Middlesbrough, picked up third prize of a £25 Dundas Market Voucher.

The Christmas card competition is part of the festivities at Dundas Shopping Centre and Indoor Market which also includes a special three-day Christmas Food and Craft Market running from 15th to 17th December.

Until Christmas Day, Dundas Market is open seven days a week, and there is free parking after 3pm in the 178-space Dundas Shopping Centre basement car park, accessed off Wilson Street.

Dundas Shopping Centre is the home of offer value for money stores, from national brands like Boyes, B&M, Fulton Foods and Cooplands to well-known local independents like The Festival Shop, Tik Tok, Homefair Blinds, Buckshees Military Surplus and LD Printing.
