PRESS RELEASE

WILTON CENTRE LAUNCHES CHRISTMAS CHARITY APPEALS

The Wilton Centre has launched its Christmas charity appeals, as its Christmas tree goes up in its reception area.

Each year the Teesside science and business park asks the office and laboratory workers and their employers based at its 75 acre campus, located between Middlesbrough and Redcar, to make donations of presents or food to support two charities.

Management at the Wilton Centre are collecting presents for children at the EVA Women’s Refuge in Redcar and food for Middlesbrough charity Hugs for the Homeless’ foodbank and Christmas dinner for homeless and destitute people.  They are also asking for shoeboxes full of small presents for Hugs for the Homeless to give to homeless people.

Steve Duffield, Site Director at the Wilton Centre says: “Last year our occupiers were extremely generous.  They donated almost 100 children’s presents, 26 shoeboxes, and enough food so that the foodbank had to make two special collections, so we are hoping to top that this Christmas.  Donations can be left at our main reception area.”

Wilton Centre is a leading, privately-owned science and business park located in the heart of Teesside just five minutes’ drive from Middlesbrough.  It provides a wide range of top quality office, laboratory and pilot plant accommodation at competitive rental terms with immediate occupancy.  Set in a 75 acre landscaped site, it has its own lake and boasts 1,600 free car parking spaces.
