Keeping the bugs at bay with Timantti Clean

A semi-matt waterborne antimicrobial paint, Timantti Clean from TeknosPro contains BioCote silver phosphate glass antimicrobial technology to preserve the coating surface and prevent colonisation and degradation caused by microbial growth in home interiors.

Timantti Clean is an acrylate dispersion paint and its high wear resistance and hygiene levels make it ideal for surfaces in dry, humid and wet spaces such as kitchens and bathrooms where there is a desire to keep walls and ceilings clean.

Painted surfaces can be washed repeatedly without worrying about abrasion while the antimicrobial active ingredient used in Timantti Clean prevents harmful bacteria by interfering with their metabolism which stops microbes from multiplying. Tests of the product for antimicrobial performance in accordance with ISO 22196:2011 have exhibited a minimum of 95% and up to 99.99% reduction in the population of Escherichia Coli and Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA).

Using roller, spray or brush, Timantti Clean can be applied to primed concrete, plaster, stopper, brick and building board surfaces and is also suitable for repainting old alkyd and dispersion paint coats. Priming is with Timantti 3 Primer or, for steel surfaces, Ferrex Aqua Anticorrosive paint.

Environmentally friendly, Timantti Clean is classified to Group M1 of the emission classification of building materials - the best classification and standard for low-emission. The product has been granted the right to use the allergy label of the Finnish Allergy and Asthma Federation.

Timantti Clean is available in 2.7 and 9 litre sizes and is tinted with the Teknomix system.
