Washability and abrasion resistance from Timantti 20

Designed for dry and humid spaces where good washability and abrasion resistance is required, Timantti 20 is a semi-matt special acrylate waterborne paint from TeknosPro. It is especially suited to the interior walls and ceilings of kitchens, bathrooms, halls and staircases in schools, hospitals, food processing premises and other similar facilities. 

The Timantti product family comprises a series of professional grade products designed to endure, protect and isolate. Timantti 20 is mildew resistant and the painted surface can be washed repeatedly. Together with Timantti W moisture sealer, the paint is included in a coating system for wet rooms, approved by the Swedish Måleribranschens Våtrumskontroll (MVK). 

Environmentally friendly, TeknosPro coatings comply fully with European VOC emission standards and REACH regulations. Timantti 20 has low VOC levels and no odour and is classified to Group M1 of the emission classification of building materials - the best classification and standard for low-emission. 

Timantti 20 may be tinted to all TeknosPro colour shades and can be diluted with water if required. It is easily applied by roller, spray or brush to primed concrete, plaster, filler, brick and building board surfaces. The paint is also suitable for repainting old alkyd and dispersion paint coats. Initial drying time is one hour while the final forming of the paint film takes around four weeks. Detergent and warm water is all that is needed for clean up. 

Priming is with Timantti 3 Primer or, for steel surfaces, Ferrex Aqua Anticorrosive paint. Timantti 20 is available in 2.7 and 9 litre sizes.
