Road closures in Cardiff Bay between 3.15 and 4.15 on Monday (October 2nd)

The statue of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi will be unveiled in Cardiff Bay at approximately 3.20pm on Monday October 2nd.

The statue will be put up in the Flourish close to Craft in the Bay.

Road closures will be put in place on safety grounds if required, depending on the number of the people that attend the event

Between 3.15pm and 4.15pm the following roads may close:

  • Bute Place - junction with Pierhead Street

  • Lloyd George Avenue - junction with Bute Place

  • The bottom end of the Flourish outside the Wales Millennium Centre.

If road closures are put in place, all traffic travelling south will be directed towards Pierhead Street.
