Award-winning Wagyu producer extends its online offering

Further to consumer demand, a Driffield based premium beef business has increased its online offering with a Wagyu taster box and a range of two pack steaks.

Tibthorpe based The Yorkshire Wagyu Company has added a £50 ‘Taste of Wagyu' box, plus two packs of its best-selling steaks, to its online shop that was launched in January.

Explaining the rationale for the launch, Yorkshire Wagyu's Jonathan Shepherd said: "We designed the Taste box for people trying Wagyu for the first time. It contains two 170g (6oz) sirloin steaks, two 170g (6oz) ribeye steaks and four 115g (4oz) gourmet burgers.

"Early sales of both the Taste of Wagyu box and the steaks are very encouraging."

The range of Yorkshire Wagyu steaks include the Great Taste two gold star rated chuck steak, rump, ribeye, sirloin and fillet. Prices range from £16.95 for two225g (8oz) chuck steaks to £37.50for two225g (8oz)fillet steaks. Postage and packing costs £6.95.

Jonathan Shepherd added:"We're very pleased to be able to offer customers the opportunity to experience the amazing taste of wagyu for under £25 for two steaks."

Yorkshire Wagyu is also available on the menu at selected restaurants throughout the UK and retail from selected butchers nationwide.
