Founded in Holland by Gerard Keller and his brother Henk in 1935, Keller began by making parquet floors before manufacturing its first kitchen in 1946. With a reputation for quality and innovation, Keller Kitchens started exporting to the UK in 1983 and now has over 60 kitchen specialists overseas.

Since 2015,the company has operated from a 56,000m² factory in Bergen op Zoom in the south of Holland. One of the most modern kitchen production facilities in Europe, it uses state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest standards of performance and is capable of producing some 2,500 kitchens every week, with a production line speed of 60m per minute.

Every taste, style and colour is possible with Keller Kitchens. Working in-house, Keller's Dutch design and product development teams embrace all current trends, resulting in exotic designsfor the UK market and the use of materials ranging from melamine to solid oak.

Keller's Master Collection is unique in the kitchen market and features nine contemporary colours in six finishes, all of which provide a perfect colour match across all design elements. This makes it possible to combine various different materials in the same kitchen so every style and budget can be accommodated.

With a similarly impressive range, the Comfort Collection provides a choice of four melamine solid colours, nine realistic wood reproductions and four matt finish colours, together with 1,950 NCS colours in structured, silk and high gloss finishes for all spray-painted models. Using these colours,it is possible to finish the whole kitchen or just pick out a detail.

In 2014,innovative grid 130 dimensioning was introduced by Keller. The standard grid multiples of 130mm mean expanded cabinet space, a lower plinth height and an optimised working height, making for ergonomic, aesthetic and economic design with more storage. To complement the overall look, a wide selection of stylish handles are available and, where a minimalist, contemporary style is required, Keller offers handleless doors.

Keller products are laser edged so less glue is needed and durability is enhanced. In addition, the unit fronts look sleeker and the edges are easy to clean as it is virtually impossible for dirt to accumulate in the joints.

Operating sustainability and responsibly, Keller implemented a carbon-neutral manufacturing process in April 2017. Numerous measures ensure that there is a clear focus on producing beautiful, accessible kitchens while respecting people and the planet at all times;from the harvesting of raw materials right through to the distribution of the end product.

All wood and sheet material is FSC-certified, water-based lacquers are used and packaging is ‘green' and 100% recyclable. Waste is separated at source and waste products, such as sawdust from the manufacturing process, are converted into energy. Energy efficient LED lighting is employed throughout the factory with power supplied from solar panels. With over 170 lorries loaded at the distribution centre every week, Keller's transport fleet is compliant with Green Freight Europe and the vehicles are washed with rainwater, further minimising the environmental impact of every kitchen.
