KWB Brings Former Walsall Police Station Back To Market

PRESS RELEASE

19 July 2017

KWB BRINGS FORMER WALSALL POLICE STATION BACK TO MARKET

Birmingham independent commercial property agency KWB has brought the former Walsall Police Station back to the market as a gateway development site.

Acting on behalf of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, KWB’s Martin Cook is marketing the freehold of the 36,500 sq ft office building on a 1.6 acre site as a redevelopment opportunity.

The former police station is situated in Walsall town centre in a prominent location on the corner of Green Lane (A34), Blue Lane East and part of Court Way, next door to Walsall Magistrates Court.

Mr Cook says: “The former police station could be retained as offices, but as a landmark site just off Walsall ring road, subject to planning permission, it would better suit redevelopment for an office led mixed used scheme.”

KWB is also marketing the former Shirley Police Station in Solihull.  Unconditional offers are sought for the former Walsall Police Station. Further information is available from Martin Cook or Ben Voss-Wood at KWB on tel. 0121 233 2330 or email mcook@kwboffice.com or bvoss-wood@kwboffice.com, or via https://kwboffice.com/property/walsall-police-station-offices-walsall/

With offices in Birmingham and Solihull, KWB is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors which offers a comprehensive commercial property service and unrivalled market knowledge across the West Midlands.  KWB has been trading for more than 25 years and its senior management team has in excess of 200 years combined professional experience.
