Bond It seals Giants deal

Manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and building chemicals, Bond It has renewed its commitment to professional rugby league club, the Huddersfield Giants.

On Friday 14th July during half-time of the Giants' last home game of the regular season at the John Smith's Stadium, Huddersfield, Bond It signed a two year deal which will see the business continue as main partner of the club until the end of the 2019 season.

Bond It, whose head offices and main manufacturing facility are located in nearby Elland, has been the Giants' main partner since 2014. Prior to that, the company was associate kit partner.

Bond It's on-going support of the Giants reflects the company's wider commitment to corporate social responsibility. It enables the business to ‘give something back' to the local community which is home to many of the company's staff and suppliers.

The renewed sponsorship will also help Bond It to maintain and increase awareness of its brand as it pursues aggressive plans for further growth.

Under the deal, the Bond It logo will enjoy pride of place on the front of the Giants' home and alternative shirts as well as on the team's training kit. Bond It branding will also feature prominently on hoardings and other areas around the Giants' home ground.

This will ensure good visibility both at matches and during televised coverage which is regularly carried by the BBC, Sky and other broadcasters.

Commenting on the deal, David Moore, managing director at Bond It, said: "Bond It is delighted to renew its sponsorship of the Giants and I know everyone at the business is proud of our continuing association with the Club.

"Our long-standing partnership has proved highly effective in enabling us to forge closer links with the local community and also in getting our brand in front of hundreds of thousands of league followers every week - many of them potential trade or DIY users of Bond It products. We wish the Club every success for the coming seasons."

Huddersfield Giants managing director, Richard Thewlis, added: "Bond It's early commitment to continuing as the Club's main partner for the next two years is fantastic news.

"The on-going backing of such a high-profile brand is an obvious boost not only for the Giants but for Super League as a whole. It also provides clear evidence that we are doing the right things by our partners.

"Bond It and the Giants enjoy an exceptionally strong relationship and everyone at the Club is looking forward to building on that for the mutual benefit of both brands.

"On behalf of everyone at Giants, I'd like to thank Bond It for its continued support."
